Graduate and Fellow Members are entitled to designate themselves as “Chartered Industrial Engineer “(C. Ind. Eng).

The codes of good practice of the Chartered Industrial Engineer are as follows:

a) To keep oneself fully aware of the development in smart technology and contribute to the growth of knowledge in the field as far as one’s expertise, time and position allow.

b) To demonstrate technical and professional competence to the degree of membership one claims in the field of industrial engineering.

c) To do all in one’s power to further understanding of the entire industrial system with the power of smart technology.

d) To contribute to the interchange of technical and professional knowledge to fellow professionals and to the public at large.

e) Not to make false or exaggerated statements as to the state of affairs existing or expected regarding any aspect of industrial engineering or the use of smart technology.
